called DR. today

to make an appointment since I got a BFP.(took 3 tests) The girl at the desk said they don't usually see you until 6 weeks. So I made an appt. in Jan. Is this normal? What if my BFP was a false positive?

You could always ask to go in for blood work to make sure you have a strong beta. However, nothing will show up on a sono until 6wks. At that point, as long as it's all going as planned you will probably get to see the heartbeat

they normally dont see you until 6 0r 8 weeks..but like pp said u can def go for blood to confirm if u want

im pretty sure there is no such thing as a false positive... it cant detect the hormone if its not there youre pregnant....

most drs wont see you until 7 or 8 weeks...

false positive is very rare! my first appt is for ~7weeks but they let me come in for a beta right after my BFP to confirm
