buying stuff before vacation
Does anyone else feel the need to buy stuff? I always seem to run out and buy things like new clothes, extra bathing suit, memory card. Does everyone else? I always need something that I managed to live without at home.

Absolutely! I'm going away in 2 weeks and I think UPS and FedEx are brining packages at least twice a day each! Plus I've been shopping to buy stuff too. I won't keep it all, but definitely a bunch of it

I do all the time but it's usually razors and empty travel sized bottles that I fill with laundry detergent and meds. I stopped caring about clothes. I wear the same things all the time because of comfort, and that's what I bring with me.

All the time!! We just did a Disney cruise and I bought so much new stuff. Thankfully I left the tags on all of it and was able to return probably half of it.

Just got back from 2 weeks in the US/BVI's.
DH needed some new shirts, a new pair of trunks and rash guard.
I bought a new coverup dress, two new tankini tops and new tankini bottom to replace the ones that wore out.
Other than that, we wear what we own.
Oh, we did buy a new rolling duffel to carry our snorkel gear, beach stuff, cooler bag.
I'd rather spend the money on the vacation itself, we do boat trips.

Yes and it leads to a lot of stress before a trip because i feel like I'm preparing for weeks and stressing out about what i need to get.

No, I don't really buy new clothes for vacation. Maybe just a dress if I come across one. But I usually buy a couple little toiletries that I throw out at the hotel after the trip is over.

i do, but not necessarily clothes. but things like snacks, travel toiletries, and other stuff depending on where we're going. we're going to disney in August and i bought a used double stroller off of crags list. My kids are 6 and 3 so i wasn't gonna buy a new one. renting one for the week was as much as this used one was... and this way i have it to resell HAHA and for like a beach trip i might buy new towels or beach umbrella or whatever if we need one
