I had to google how old he is, only 79.
He just has not aged very well.

Not really... I thought he looked more like 90! That said, if I'm not mistaken the man partied hard in his younger years, really lived life, it's just showing on him more so than most people I know.

Exactly. My FIL is 83 and he looks WAY younger than this. I mean FIL has always always looked more than 10 years younger than he is- it's just genetics- but Burt just looks like he hasn't aged all that well.

I was going to add, my view might be skewed because longevity runs in our family, and people look MUCH younger than they are. My grandmother passed very recently at almost 83, and that was after a very sudden and devastating illness, and we all feel that her life was cut short by at least 10 years - and she was buried with a full head of BLACK hair - not dyed. She was some lady

I mean, he's almost 80.
I still see him and think of SNL Celebrity Jeopardy with Norm McDonald -- and in Celeb Jeopardy they play for charity. So, of course they ask him what charity and he answers the Palm Springs Golf and Country Club  Dang that show was funny!

For 79, he looks haggard, shrunken from his former self.
My dad is 80, FIL is 81 and my friend's mom is 90 - none of them look their ages. They all look pretty good.

Same - my FIL is his age and looks way younger than Burt does. MIL doesn't even look like she is 74 - more like 68.
Like another poster stated my grandparents lived well into their 90's - on both sides. My grandmother passed away 3 weeks before her 100th b-day last October. So 79 is like 50 in my eyes...lol

I also think he looks very old and frail. And if Im not mistaken. He's had work done in the past. So I would think he would look a bit younger. He looks sickly. I wonder if he's battling an illness. Almost looks like he suffered a stroke. But I don't see anything on line about an illness.

I look at sick elderly people at work all day so I might be skewed the other direction. If I see a young looking person in their mid to late 70's I say they look good but I don't consider it the norm. I also see may much younger people who look very old for their ages. Genetics certainly do vary greatly.
I guess the more I look at him he does look a bit older than 79, especially in the hands.
