Re: Bumper Poll
I registered for both a breathable and a regular and I'm still debating which, if either, I am going to use.

Re: Bumper Poll
I used the reg. ones with my son. My sister gave me both or this baby so I think I will use the breathable ones until she is old enough to not get hurt.

Re: Bumper Poll
They came in the package for DS's set, we didn't use them. When DD came along, we didn't even bother buying a set, nor did we use bumpers.
To me, not worth the risk or what ifs. If I really wanted bumpers, I would use the breathable ones...but honestly there is no reason to use them.

Bumper Poll
I wasn't going to use them but them my friends son got his leg caught in between one of the slats and my other friend said they are good so binkies don't escape.

Re: Bumper Poll
I picked have used them and will again but we will see this time. I had no problem using them with dd (7 yrs old). I feel like its so bare and cold in the crib with nothing but at the same time, don't want to take any risks.

That's how I feel. I would also worry that LO would stick their arms and legs through the slats. I guess breathable is a good compromise.

I used Breathable Bumpers. Bumpers came with the bedding set I ordered but I refused to use them.

Re: Bumper Poll
Not using them. If I can find breathable bumpers that go with my bedding then maybe, but as of now I do not plan to use them. I got regular bumpers from my mom when she got my bedding but I had her return them.

Re: Bumper Poll
I used them for DD in 2008. I live in Chicago and they became illegal here when I was pregnant with DS. He is almost 1 and doesn't have them. I won't get them for #3 either.
I thought about breathable ones but never found organic ones and I feel strongly about the mattress, sheets and pj's not be treated with flame retardant chemicals.

Re: Bumper Poll
i had the breathable ones but had to switch when my DS turned 7 months, he rolled around like crazy in his crib and kept bumping his head, waking him up in the middle of the night. I put the regular ones in there and so far, so good.
