bumbo seat?
I bought something similar to a bumbo..it was by summer infant but half the price. We used it for such a short period of time that I'm glad I didn't spend the money on the bumbo.

not necessary. dd really didn't like it, I only used it for pics. wasn't something I was even interested in, but it was given to me as a gift. I wouldn't spend the $$

I have friends who swore by it, but my DD absolutely despised it. We tried to have her sit in it a couple of times and then gave up. Total waste of money.

We don't have the bumbo, but have something similar, the bebePod. We didn't use it much when DD was a baby, but are now using it as her booster seat at the table. bebePod

Nay. Unless you get a hand me down. I think it's a waste of money. Only used ours a handful of times.
Just put your boppy around them when they start to sit up.

Love love love it. I've used it now for all 3 of my kids. I sit them in it at the kitchen table with us, on the counter when I'm cooking or doing dishes so I can talk to them, etc. I've tried sitting them with the Boppy, but before they can really sit unsupported, all they do is fall over with the Boppy, or end up lying on it. Once you're ready for your DC to be sitting, but before they can do it on their own, I think it is a really good option, especially when you don't really want them lying on their heads all the time.

Agreed. I am using the Fisher Price Floor Seat and he loves it and fits comfortably.
