Bumbo or something like it
What age is the bumbo/baby snug seat good for? I'd like to get one for DD. She is 3 months but don't know if she'll use it very long...

I used it from like 2.5-5/6mos? It was summer during that time too, so I brought it to the beach and put it in his baby pool.

I started around 3.5 months with dd. I had the summer activity seat and she loved it!

I got the bumbo around 3 months. I can still squeeze DD in it at 10 months to give her a snack or lunch. She's a lil thing!
I used it a lot at first to give her somewhere new to play. Then she was sitting on her own so I didn't use it for a few months. Around 8 months when she was eating more solids I took it back out again to use for some of her meals.

Bumbo or something like it
We have the seat that's like a bumbo but it has a removable tray around it w toys. It also converts to a toddler booster seat that can be attached to a chair. We figure we'd get a little more use out of it that way and it was actually less expensive than the bumbo. I think Summers Infant makes it. We started putting DD in it around 4 months when she started to be able to hold her head up but I didn't leave her in it unattended bc she tended to flop forward a little after a while, but now at almost 5 months she likes grabbing for the toys and turning her head to look at the ones that make rattling sounds.

We have the same one and DD (5 months) loves it. It keeps her entertained for quite awhile, which is really nice when I need to get things done.

I started using it at 2 months and really only got a good month out of it. DD had very chunky thighs and it was too tight to put her in it.

We put them in bumbos at 3 mo and they liked them, but we also got the summer infant seat (or super seat) because it has toys attached and they like that one better. they are still a bit small for it and cant fully reach stuff yeat at 4 mo but they are small.
