BTDT: Registering
What is this Baby Bargains book everyone is talking about? I checked on amazon and there are so many. Is there a specific book I should use??

i thought it was very helpful. it gets updated frequently, so just make sure it's the most current edition

When I was pregnant (DS is 6 months old) the newest version was the one with the green cover.
Definitely very helpful!

I actually mainly used the Consumer reports Baby Products book (also updates frequently, so make sure it's current). I loved that book- it was my bible for registering! It has all the safety ratings and really easy to follow charts comparing different products on price, safety, ease of use, etc.

I agree. I read the book, made notes and went in to register with a list of the top 3 highest rated items from each category (stroller, high seat, crib, etc). It helped narrow things down so much and helped me determine what I *really* needed vs. what I could do without....I would have been lost without it! Make sure you get the most recent copy as it is updated each year.
