BTDT moms sizing question...
If you remember.....
When did your child wear 12 months??
My mom is at a store where they have lots of cute summer stuff on sale and I don't know what size to tell her to get.
I know every child is different but I am just trying to get an idea if I should tell her 12 or 18 months. He is in 3-6 now.

my son was big but I would say by June you can wear 12 months...
He is 14 months now and is in anywhere from 12-18 months to 18-24 months...

It's hard i know. I do the same thing.
My DD is 6 months old and already grew out of her 6 months clothes and her 9 months are finally fitting nicely. She's only about 15lbs.
I would go with a size up for next year.

My kids were true to size for the most part (some brands run significantly smaller). I would say 9-12 months if they're "average" size for summer.

It is so hard to tell.. My DS wore 12 months when he was 12 months old.
My nephew was wearing 12 months well before that.. I think he was 9 months old.
