BTDT Moms DTD
Sorry if this is TMI but how long did you wait before you after your LO was born? OB said to wait 6 weeks. Did you wait or do it sooner? C-section answers would be great. Thanks

Re: BTDT Moms DTD
I had a csection and got the all clear at 6 weeks. I was surprised that it hurt still considering I didn't push a baby out. My OB said that was normal because of increased dryness - to use lots of lube at first.
Also, if you're nursing, that dries you out more and will make it uncomfortable whether or not you had a csection. Just lube up.

I had a c-section and we waited 4 weeks per the Dr.....it wasn't pleasant.....take it slow and use lube.

Re: BTDT Moms DTD
ok well we last night at 4 weeks. Didnt hurt. I didnt get the ok from the doctor but one thing led to another and it was too late. After I was reading and a lot of things were saying 4-6 weeks. Its probably ok that we didnt wait the full 6 weeks right? As long as it didnt hurt I guess right?

Vaginal birth and I was ready at 6 weeks but AF arrived. So we waited for AF to leave town and did it around 7 weeks- it was fine. No pain at all. But I had a relatively easy birth and few stitches. I felt 100% fine a week post partum.

Re: BTDT Moms DTD
There have been quite a few posts on parenting regarding this since I've been a member on here and from what I remember, most of those who DTD earlier than 6 weeks had no issues, except for the dryness and that they went slow. I think I remember one or two ladies saying that they popped a stitch or two from doing it too early so def be super careful.

This was the same for me except it did hurt the first time. I tore and had stitches so it was definately painful but after that it was fine.

ok thanks. No pain here either. I think I was just more scared of something hurting so I took it slow.
