BTDT- If you were late with your first child...
If you were late with your first..
1-How late were you?
and
2- When you finally gave birth did you go into labor naturally or did you need to be induced?

I was 4 days late with Lara. I was scheduled to be induced on a monday I went into natural labor the saturday before. I ended up with a c section but I did have a natural labor.

I had my son at 41w via c-section. He was very high up and I had nothing going on whatsoever. My OB would have induced me but at that point, my DS was too big - estimated at 9lb9oz, but was really 8lb5oz.

I was exactly one week late and happen to have a doctors app't that day...the doctor said "do you want to have this baby"..i said "YES"...she said go home get you bags and check into the hospital...I did. Got to hospital at 12noon and had the baby at 3:15am the next day. I was given pitocon..also got an epidural...pushing took a long time for me..but my son was 9lb 1oz, 22inches long.

DD was born at exactly 41weeks. Had induction scheduled for apprx 41w3d, but water broke on its own before the induction date

I went into labor two days after my due date and had DS three days after my due date. I went into labor naturally.

I was 2 days late. I went into labor on my own, but I had also had acupuncture to try to get things moving.

Two days late went naturally, was scheduled for an induction two days after I went into labor.

I was induced at 40w 6d. My OB does not let you go past a week late.
I was 2cm dilated & 80% effaced for about 2-3 weeks & nothing happened on its own.
Went in to be induced - dr broke my water right away, started pitocin & things started happening.
I delivered vaginally 15 hrs later!
