BTDT Expecting Number 2

DS will be almost 2 when LO arrives...I'm overwhelmed with thinking how I will handle 2 LO's!!! For those with 2, what do I need to get to prepare? I know I will need a new stroller, how do I even start trying to figure out what kind? Other items I will need?

Lastly, if your first was in a crib when #2 came, what do you do about the sleeping arrangement? I'm not sure if I should try to move DS to a toddler bed in a new bedroom and keep the nursery for the new baby or keep DS in his room with the crib and buy another crib??

DS was 15 months when DD was born so he stayed in his crib. But even if he was older I would want him to stay in his own crib in his own room. You don't want him to feel like his stuff went to the new baby. KWIM?

My daughter was 22 months and in a crib. Baby was in a bassinet and 2 months later my daughter went into a toddler bed but we had already bought a 2nd crib. We still had most everything form #1 like a swing and bouncer. We did not buy a double stroller and opted for a Moby and then an Ergo for when he was older. It was the best decision for us since he loves to be held and hates a stroller! The thing I needed the most was easy snack for my daughter and I since I was nursing. She adjusted really well. We bought some Disney movies a new blanket and a new pillow for her and called it her snuggle basket. When she needed Mommy time she would grab a movie and her blanket/pillow and snuggle up. She never minded sharing with Buddy. They are now 1.5 and 3.5 and are amazing together. She is such a helper with Gray. I loved the age difference. We are considering #3 and my only hesitation is that my son is pretty high maintenance. Just started STTN, needs to be help constantly, and will scream or yell instead of using his words. It's a bit overwhelming to think about having a nb again.
