BTDT: 9 month old pulling on ears?
DD is pulling on her ear but she doesn't have a temperature. She seems to be in a good mood, but she did sleep the full night two nights in a row which was the first time EVER. Do you think she is sick? Should I go to the doctor? I know her front tooth is coming in but I am not sure whether it is teething though.

I would have her checked out just to be sure.. That was always a clear indication of an ear infection in my kids.. GL!

DS likes to pull on his ears for no reason other than he is intrigued by them. He usually runs fevers and is extremely irritable when he has ear infections (and doesn't even touch his ears).
If you have doubts though, I would take DC to check.

Although babies tug on ears just because it's fun, I would check it out. Both of my DS had ear infections without fevers. My ped also said that front teeth don't usually cause ear pain, it's usually the molars later on that do that.

I was just looking into this cause DD was kind of doing it.
They also say it can be teething related- the pain travels up the jaw to the ear.

DS was doing the same thing and he was also in a fine mood. I did end up taking him to the Dr's anyways and he had a double ear infection

DS pulls on his ears CONSTANTLY for the past 2 months..we have been to the ped twice for well visits and his ears were clear i had them just check in case. His 2 upper teeth are coming in so I sure its that
