BTDT - nursery furniture: munire vs pali

for anyone who has either of these brands of furniture... would you recommend them? why or why not?

they are both rated very similar in baby bargains.

I have one of each. Pali for DD#1 and Munire for DD#2. We got both from Behrs. I would say that I'm sorry we got the Munire set. It is a nice looking set but the quality is not as good as our Pali set. It scratched much more easily. When we tried to convert it to a toddler bed the frame part that holds the mattress wouldn't stay together. We finally ended up getting a toddler bed and putting it away and just using the dressers. I would say go for the Pali if I had to do it again. They are nice looking sets but the drawers sometimes don't close smoothly etc. Never had a single issue with our Pali set. It looks amazing and has been an excellent crib and toddler bed for DD#1. I highly recommend them.

Etd to add that my Pali set is from 2007 and my Munire set is from 2009. I could be wrong but I think BRU about 2 years ago started selling Pali but the ones that they sell I believe were a lower quality (with a lower price tag) than the ones in the other stores like behrs.

I have munire and I like my set (lexington). I actually didnt go with pali because 2 of my friends have it and their sets are totally scratched up. According to the guy at behrs the quality of Pali has gone down over the past couple of years so he didnt recommend them either.

No experience with Pali, we have just a crib by Munire. My only gripe so far would be that it scratched VERY easily. My DH leaned to pick up DS & his belt scratched it pretty bad.
