Brushing teeth and last bottle question

DS gets his bottle and then I usually put him right to bed because he's falling asleep. Is that really bad for his teeth? Should I just brush them in the morning? How do you do it?

Re: Brushing teeth and last bottle question

We were told by the pediatric dentist to brush at night as the last thing you do. Because at night is when germs brew most in your mouth and begin to cause decay. We gave Teddy his bottle brushed our teeth than rocked him while reading to him.

Re: Brushing teeth and last bottle question

I brush his teeth right after the bottle to get the sugar off his teeth.

I know how you feel, but try it and then do a book. He was the same way.. bottle then starts falling asleep, but when I started brushing his teeth he still fell asleep after. I now do milk, brush teeth, read some books then lay him in his crib
