Brown Bathroom
Does anyone have a brown bathroom? If you do, please send pics. There is chocolate brown tile in our bathroom and I am looking for ideas. Thanks!

Re: Brown Bathroom
I don't have a brown bathroom but I love the blue and brown combo that is all the rage right now. Just an idea. I'll try to find some pics.

Re: Brown Bathroom
my powder rm is chocolate brown. pics were taking last summer when room was first completed hence the lack of accessories in the pics. . flash was on so color is really darker/warmer IRL.

Re: Brown Bathroom
Our bathroom is blue with gray tiles with brown in them and all brown accents; rugs, shower curtain, etc. I love the brown & blue combination. I also love brown and pink.

skew I liked how your bathroom came out. But why the dark brown ? When ever I talk to interior decorators, they say when dealing with a small tiny room go light. (this is in reference to the walls and old floor) Is this what you meant by painting the vanity ? Came out nice.

not sure what interior decorators you have spoken with but it is widely suggested to go for the drama in small powder rooms. since the room is small it should have a WOW factor that cannot easily be achieved in larger rooms. i wanted to use black instead of the chocolate brown but didn't have the guts. if black, i would have opted for a small chandelier instead of the sconces. however, i am pleased with the results as is.
everything in the room is new, including the vanity and wood floors.

Re: Brown Bathroom
Love how your bathroom turned out Skew! Where did you find the great vanity?
I love when people take risks and paint small spaces deep colors. So much better than stark white. My aunt has a powder room similar to yours and painted it a deep red.

I am sorry skew I was only stating what I was seeing in your pictures IMO. As for Drama I get enough from my 24 & 16 year old. (if you have kids you know what I mean) As for the WOW factor I would of chose another room to be wowed in. I assumed your bathroom was refurbished by what I saw. I quess thats what happens with looking at pictures you make wrong assuptions like you did with mine. We can both laugh now

What a GORGEOUS bathroom! You've just really inspired me...
I have a small 1/2 bath downstairs that is stark white right now (new construction), and I've been thinking of putting up white wainscoting and painting the wall some dark color. I love the way yours came out!

Re: Brown Bathroom
When we lived in our apt. our bathroom was brown. We accented it with cream but peach or pink looks nice too.

wait, huh? drama, i see no drama here except the one that you just created with the "you picked on me, so now i am picking on you" comment. and believe me, the WOW factor is definitely apparent in my home. yeah, i do happen to think that there is more drama created in a room with warm and rich colors as opposed to one with stark white walls or outdated wallpaper. sorry, JMO.
and i am confused, what exactly screams "refurbished" in this room?
i 100% stand by my statements in re: to your house. there were by no means assumptions, only facts as stated by others as well.
