Brining Turkey
IF I brine a turkey do you still butter and season it as you normally would if you didnt brine it right before placing in oven to roast?
Sorry for the stupid question... I've only made turkey twice before and I've always used butter with an herb mix. I was wondering if I can still use that after brining the turkey.
Thanks!

Re: Brining Turkey
We brined our turkey for Thanksgiving and still did a rub with olive oil. It was delicious!!

Re: Brining Turkey
Yes, after brining, rinse brine off with cold water.
Pat dry. Then rub with vegetable oil and seasoning. I just did salt, pepper, and paprika.
