breast pumps
I was thinking of renting one from the hospital. What are you ladies doing, is that gross?

Re: breast pumps
I have my own, but when I had my son he was in NICU, so when I was in the hospital, I had to use one of their pumps for a day. It wasn't gross, I am sure they change the tubing and clean it well.

Re: breast pumps
I'm renting one from the hospital right now and it's not gross at all. Even though I rented the pump from them, I still had to buy my own Medela kit from them (it has the tubing, shields, etc.) to attach to the pump. It's all pre-packaged and sterilized and can be used with any Medela system. Once I'm done renting the hospital pump, I can continue to use the kit with the Pump In Style that I'm planning on purchasing for when I go back to work. The hospital ones are pretty good because of the suction...it's totally worth renting!
