Breast Feeding spin off-and all those other life"choices"
I've had 2 of DH's awful sunset wheat beers so bear with:
I was a proud FTWM who FF (by choice/stopping nature from doing it's thing/what have you) my first 2 kids.
Then I lost my job while pregnant with my third. I became a SAHM to 2 kids. And when I had my third, I decided/chose/didn't choose but let nature do its thing and BF my youngest.
Then I chose/decided/didn't choose but let nature do its thing and took a new PT WAH position.
My point is I've done it all and you should listen to me when I say chilllll outttt. It's all good-BF/FF/WAH/FTWM/SAHM. It's all good. I promise.
Also-I have more kids than most of you so that should give me even more cred.

But that wasn't the point of the article. I could care less how anyone feed their babies, but I am upset knowing someone got fired for needing to pump at work.

No, I get that. I'm just speaking to what that thread turned into-as always, a defense of what we do.
Fired for feeding your kid, that is outrageous. The rest of it? The other stuff that always comes up during any thread on one of the 2 or3 mother of all mothering topics. That's what I mean.

I agree. I feel like women especially, need to support each other. The world would be a better place.

Well said! People need to just relax....
Heres the thing...FEED YOUR KID, however you choose to do it, just make sure they get fed!
And support your child, whether as a FTWM, or SAHM just make sure your kid has the basics and life will be good!

Re: Breast Feeding spin off-and all those other life"choices"
Can I juts be honest? I think all the BF/FF, FTWM/PTWM/SAHM issues turn into a big drama thread & and into a heated discussion bc of some insecure women. If you are secure in your decision/choice to work or stay home, to BF or FF , why would you care what others think /say and what others are doing? I always say do your own thing , your family, our kid(s) your business, as long as you are providing everything your family and DC needs who cares about anything else?
