breaking water and dilation
Do you have to be dilated in order for your water to break? I'm not talking full dilation, just at least something?

i dont believe i was at all and my water broke...i had an internal that morning and was 5 days late...prob had a little to do with it!

I am not sure When I went into labor with ds, I was 3 cm and they broke my water

No...my best friends water broke but she never dilated. She obviously had a c-section.
