Brazillan Hair Straightening- anyone get?

I have been getting JHS for 6 years, I have a lot of roots now(couldnt do it as soon as I usually do bc I was pregnant).

I was thinking of getting the Brazillian. Anyone get it?

I have had it done 5 times now. it great but I only get it done in the summer to help deal with the humidity. It is expensive but many salons give deals for first time customers. It doesnt last long.....they say 3-4 months....I think more like 2 but everyone is different. The more "damaged" your hair the better the results.

Where did you go and how much?I go to Giovanna's in Massapequa. it's $200-300, depending on length of hair. Impulse in Seaford/N. Massapequa does it also, but i'm not sure of the price

I have done the JHS every year for the past 7 years. I had it done last July for the last time. Then this winter I did the BKT and found that it definitely improved the texture of my hair (i had it done in queens). It lasted for about 3 months, and while I did have to blow it out, it only needed about 5-10 min and it was super smooth!
i just got it redone yesterday at salon rain in massapequa...i go to ashley there. she used the Lasio 24 Hour one...charged me $225 (included cut, $210 w/o the cut). my friend got the same thing last week at a salon in merrick and paid $350!
i havent washed it yet (they say 24 hrs, but i will wait about 48 hr). i'll post how it is after i wash...
