Boy Toddler Room
When DS became a toddler did you change the room?
I guess if we didn't move we wouldn't, but since we did I need ideas? I no longer have the awesome tree painting. I've asked b4, but now it's coming down to the wire The new baby will get Mason's room now and we're moving Mason to the bigger room. Gutting it and then we have to get furniture, paint, carpet, etc.
Should we do a theme or just boy colors? Any ideas? DH is a contractor so he wants to do something cool that won't cost us a fortune. Probably sticking to nice, cherry wood furniture or something Thanks! Pics would be great too!

Re: Boy Toddler Room
If everything works out and the house gods smile on us we should be moving just before/after DS turns 3. I'm thinking that'll be the right time to do a toddler room (vs. Baby theme which it is now). 2 themes I keep coming back to are "ROCK-N-ROLL" (the kid's a musical MANIAC) -- we'd have a wall of guitars, old time posters (AC/DC, KISS, Thin Lizzy, etc ), and I'd hang some vinyl records, etc.... or "SUPERHERO" -- I think both could be fun and will grow with him over the next few years....

Re: Boy Toddler Room
When DS transitioned to twin bed, we changed the theme. He will now be moving to bigger room when his baby brother is born, so we will paint the new room blue. He has a solar system theme which we all love. He has the matching accessories including planets that hang from the ceiling and glow in the dark. Also, matching name letters for wall. We will hang planets and wall letters when he moves to bigger room. His crib converted to twin, so we didn't need new furniture. We're buying new for DS#2 because DS#1 wanted to keep his furniture. Re: Boy Toddler Room
We didn't do much with DS room once he got big boy furniture. Just jazzed it up with some sports pennants, Mets bedding, and that's it. Paint stayed the same.
