And this is why we didn't tell anyone DD's name until she was born. Everyone has an opinion

It is definitely Italian. Personally, it is not my favorite name but if you like it that is all that matters. My dd is Francesca and my MIL is weird about it BC she feels it is very Italian and my DH is not Italian. I suspect no matter what I named dd my MIL would have had an issue with it.
