boudoir pictures
This seems to be the new thing, I see a lot of girls are taking them on LIW. Did anyone do these? What do you do with them? You can't display them anywhere...

I had never even heard of doing this back when I got married. But my BF had them done on her wedding day and they came out great. She put them in a little album for her DH.

I would do lingerie.
and I would give them to my husband...maybe make him a calendar 
and maybe even put one or two in my bedroom.
I'd save some to whip out in case I even wanted a discount on anything too...and maybe put it on my PBA card...for more impact

and if they ever got out...what do I care? I'm fine going on record stating that I like to spice up my sex life with my husband. It's not a shameful thing.

Not for me. I don't have the body or confidence to do them - plus I don't know what DH would do with them. Not something I want ds & dd to come across as they're playing hide & seek in DH's closet.

I did them last week! I wanted to do them for the wedding, but just didn't for whatever reason.... Irina Mednik hosted a Boudoir Marathon... I signed up, it was terrific!
Mia (who is popular on LIW) did hair and makeup and then there was an hour for the photo session... they rented a hotel suite in NYC.
It was inexpensive and the photographs are beautiful! I thought I was going to be nervous, but once I got in there I felt completely comfortable! It was a great self-esteem boost and I can't wait to give them to my husband!

I'm most likely going to do them this summer with Fedali!! Just waiting for my hair to grow out alittle bit more!! I figured I might as well do it before I get preggo Plus all the girls on LIW have been my inspiration

Irina had a professional hair and makeup artist at the hotel ...she was terrific!
and she gives you 25 airbrushed pictures included in her price- about 200-300 pics total...a CD with all the photos and a DVD set to music.

they help pose you for the best shots. i went with my friend who did her pics with Fedali (2 sisters) and i was there the entire time and they were so great and made her feel comfortable. they came up with great ideas to make her look great---and then they retouched the images to make sure you look flawless.
usually for most photographers--they ask that you have hair & make up is done before hand.
