bottle transition help

DD is almost 14 months old and still guzzling milk through a bottle like a champ. She is drinking about 26 ounces a day.

How do we transition to a sippy cup? She uses one for water and we've tried milk but she doesn't seem to drink it, the milk gets room temp (she likes it hot) and then she is in a bad mood until she gets her warm milk.

Was thinking to try to start with one of the day time bottles transition to sippy and leave the morning and night last (she gets 4 total a day)

Any tips for my milk-a-holic? I think intervention is needed.

I would give the milk warm in a sippy and slowly make it cooler over a fee weeks or so. That's how I did formula.
She will not drink as much and I think they should be getting around 20 oz a day

I was going to try Nuk Active. DS won't take milk from a sippy. As many as I've tried.

Re: bottle transition help

My daughter is 1 and down to one bottle a day. She will drink water in her sippy but refuses milk. I even tried mixing with formula. I had the same issue with my first daughter. My pediatrician says as long as oth my daughters are getting calcium from some source like yogurt or cheese, not drinking milk is not a big issue.

I was going to post this myself. DD just turned 1 and I've started to try her with a sippy. She will put it in her mouth but doesn't suck. How will she learn to do that?
