The NICU nurse reccommended boiling over the Bottle Sterilzers so thats what we did. For us it was also easier.

Not really necessary..I used a regular pot to sterilze the bottles...I remember Gerber used to sale the pot to sterlize the bottles..but I had that when my 14 year old was born..and couldn't find them this time around.
