Bottles question
I registered for a few different kinds so I can see which ones DD does better with. Once we figure that out, then we'll get more of that kind and more nipples.
ETA: Registered for Playtex Ventaire, Playtex Drop-Ins, and Tommy Tippee.

Bottles question
All the bottles come with level 1. Also, don't go crazy buying or registering for a boatload. My dd took any bottle I gave her even after being exclusively nursed but a lot of babies are very specific in what bottles they like. Also some work better for gas, colic, etc,
With that said, I have 12 bottles. 2 are always left in the diaper bag and I also put them in the dishwasher and don't have to run it everyday. The amount of bottles they take drops as they get older and it also depends if you will hand wash them throughout the day, then you need less.

Ita with this Dd tried avent, similac, and dr browns but had issues with them. She liked the playtex ventaire best so that's what we use. Thankfully I only had 1 or two of each so it wasn't a huge expense. We have 8 bottles and it seems the right amount for us

Bottles question
I registered for the dr browns because I heard good things. I can always return if the baby doesn't like them

Bottles question
DS loves DR. Browns, but I also use Avent or Tommee Tippee in a pinch.

Bottles question
We used Playtex Ventaire, but every child is different..as for the amount, it depends if you will be doing daycare or not..we had a ton because DD is in daycare and we had 6 there pretty much at any given time and then we needed enough to get through the day at home and soak/clean at night and then have a couple in the diaper bag, etc...maybe we were nuts, but we always had enough LOL...also if you are BF at all, you can take that into account
