Boston Hotels
What hotels do you recommend in Boston? I'm looking to go away for a weekend with just DH...no kiddies. We've never been to Boston but have always wanted to go.

Re: Boston Hotels
We went for the weekend last June and we stayed at the Fairmount Battery Wharf, its on the water, in the north end, by Little Italy. It was really nice and prob a 10 min walk to the T but we didnt mind bc it was nice to walk through Little Italy and get pastries and coffee on the way. We also made reservations both night in Little Italy so we liked that we could just walk to dinner.

Re: Boston Hotels
I prefer the Hyatt near their 'theater district' b/c it's central to basically everything ........
but I could walk for hours in Boston - I don't need a 10 min walk anywhere - i'm a city girl

Re: Boston Hotels
My favorite is the Copley Marriott. $$$$$ but really nice, you can walk to the mall that is attached to the hotel. Love it.

Dh and I stayed there once - it was really nice. We named our own price on Priceline.
I've also stayed at the Copley Marriott and the Four Seasons. They were great as well.

Re: Boston Hotels
I got a good deal for the Boston Park Plaza back in February. Was very close to the T and there were good restaurants nearby.

Re: Boston Hotels
Try not to coincide with any big college graduations. It makes everything crazy and the hotels $$

Re: Boston Hotels
The Liberty Hotel. Hands Down. It's got an interesting history ( used to be a jail house) but Matt Damon is known to hang out at the bar

I stayed here the other day. Very nice. But beware, they are doing some renovations/construction at the moment.
