Book recommendation for dog lovers
I'm currently reading The Art of Racing in the Rain - it's a story about a family through the eyes of a dog. I love it and recommend it!

I enjoyed Marley and Me... until my mom told me the ending. I love those books and I smile while reading them but I can't, I just CAN'T with the endings. I actually never finished Marley & Me because I don't wanna cry my eyes out!

Thanks for the recommendation. I just finished Oogy about a rescued puppy that was used as bait in a dog fighting ring. Amazing how a dog (or any pet) can change a families life for the better.

You would like One Good Dog by Susan Wilson. It is about a pit that was rescued from the fighting ring but he was the fighter. AWESOME book.

It has it's sad moments. This is the description.

have to look into that book.
i have read The Lost Dogs, its abotu Michael Vicks dogs, its very sad, but i just had to read it and the money raised goes toward helping them.

After seeing this thread, I went to Borders, they were sold out so I found it at B&N. I couldn't put the book down! Eventually I had to bc I had to go somewhere!! Can't wait to get further into it tonight.
