Boob Question for BTDT moms...
I'm 35 weeks. My boobs are HUGE, but they haven't been sore, swollen or painful since the 1st trimester. When does it change? When does the milk start? Thanks!

your milk doesn't come in til a few days after you deliver. If you can believe it, they will get even bigger-- then they will go back down again.

I was actually only sore during the early part of my 1st trimester. My milk came in 4 days after giving birth. The night before it came in, my breasts got engorged and painful (it was the best feeling ever for me, I really was looking forward to being able to breastfeed). And then they go back down.
ETA: You can breastfeed from the beginning but you don't have milk per say, but have colostrum.

You still breastfeed. Before your milk comes in your baby gets colostrum.

Make sure you get some Lasinoh cream (for sore nips) and nursing pads bc you will leak once the milk comes in. I think mine came in around the 5th day.

In fact you SHOULD breastfeed right away and that is what helps stimulate your milk production

What is the part that hurts? The actual sucking by the baby or the soreness of your boobs that comes with engorgement/lactating?

Engorgement hurts. The baby latching on won't hurt if you're doing it correctly.
