Bobby Flay's Burger Palace
Anyone ever go?
I live in Nassau and wondered if it is worth taking a schlep to the Smithhaven Mall just for a burger....
I love Bobby Flay's restaurants so I was wondering if the burger place is worth a 25mile drive...lol...
Thanks

Re: Bobby Flay's Burger Palace
Totally worth it! Get the blue cheese and bacon burger. Crunchified! The man puts potato chips on his burgers. Genius! You can get them however you want, but its so good with chips on it.

Re: Bobby Flay's Burger Palace
SO WORTH IT!!!
It's my favorite!!
You can mix and match the burgers. I always get the classic turkey burger with no cheese but add hot sauce and jalapenos and extra pickles. It sounds gross but it's always sooo delicious.
and they have delicious: beer battered onion rings sweet potato fries regular fries shakes
ETA: Plus, it is right at the mall, so you can also shop too. Therefore it's not just a trip for the burger place- you can make a day or night out of it and shop around.

Re: Bobby Flay's Burger Palace
we went when it first opened. It was good, but not blow my mind amazing. The fries were frozen - he has since switched to fresh, so it is probably better. While the burgers were really good, I still think 5 guys is better - they just don't have the fancy toppings like bobby's.

Re: Bobby Flay's Burger Palace
I love it...I get the Miami Burger with chicken instead of a burger. It's the only place my daughter will eat grilled cheese also.
I like it a lot more than five guys.

Re: Bobby Flay's Burger Palace
My parents took us there when it first opened. Honestly, we thought it was overpriced and nothing special. 4 burgers, 2 fries and 2 sodas = $50? Not worth it! The burgers weren't even that good.

LOVE IT!!! The shakes re so good!! The burgers are different. But all the sauces are so gross.
It is a little pricey, but for an occasional stop, it is worth it! We also split an order of fries

Re: Bobby Flay's Burger Palace
My mother lives out there - so we often go there when we're out visiting. The first handful of times it was really good (I don't eat red meat so I'm only speaking about the chicken!) but the last two times the meat was tough, fries overcooked, overall it was bad. I wonder if they have new cooks.

Def worth it. We made the drive when I lived in nassau. I haven't been there in a long time, hope they got more organized. I went when it first opened and it was unorganized.
