Blueish feet??
My DD at times has light blueish/purpleish feet that get cold. I know it's a circulation thing but it only happens in the morning after she's been laying down or sitting for a little bit. After I massage them they are fine. I voiced my concern to my coworker today she said her niece gets this sometimes too. I intend to address this at the next Dr's visit but just wondered if anyones else's DC had this at any point??

Emily used to get that way when she was younger. It would happen when she was cold I noticed too so I'd rub them and they'd be fine again.

Ava gets this too. I usually rub her feet and put some socks on.

Re: Blueish feet??
I would call the ped...I am not someone who rushes to the doctor or even calls often, but I would want that checked out. JMO

Re: Blueish feet??
Thanks for this. The whole day I'm thinking OMG she has a heart problem and she's going to need surgery. I called my mom a million times to check on her foot status

Re: Blueish feet??
Maddie used to get them when she was a baby. I assumed it was poor circulation and used to rub her hands & feet. She's fine except now she always wants her hands & feet rubbed.

Re: Blueish feet??
I just asked my ped about this, he said that it's totally normal. It can happen to their hands and feet, as long as it's only the extremities and the rest of them is still pink, it's ok. IMO as long as the color comes right back it's ok, if it lasts I would still call my ped

Re: Blueish feet??
My ped told me to expect that. It never happened but I always had socks and had his hands covered.
