Bloody Noses
DH has recently been getting bloody noses at least once or twice a week-- this is not normal for him.
I could understand if it was very dry or something-- but, it's basically been raining everyday, etc.
Should I be concerned?
And if he went to the doc-- what kind of doc??

Re: Bloody Noses
How bloody is it? A stream or just a few drops in the morning?
Have him go to a GP to start off with to see if maybe he's broken a blood vessel.
Otherwise, even though it's moist outside, it's still humid and dry, and this could be the reason. Can you try having a humidifier in the room while you sleep to see if that's the cause?

Re: Bloody Noses
Is he taking any type of medication that this might be a possible side affect? I know in High School I was using Retin A and I got a couple of nose bleeds. I had no idea what it was from until I told my doc and he informed me it was a side affect of the Retin A.....

Re: Bloody Noses
high blood pressure can lead to a bloody nose. I think a primary doc would be a good place to start.

Re: Bloody Noses
If you find out let me know. I have had a bloody nose almost every day 2-3 times per day for months. My Dr. said it was just the environment doing it to me

Re: Bloody Noses
he is not on any medication and said that like when he is in the shower, or washing his face-- if he hits his nose, then that will cause it to bleed.
I just said to him-- if he lightly hit your nose-- you are not giving yourself a nose bleed-- it maybe stimulating and cause it to flow again...

Re: Bloody Noses
maybe it's just really dry. Have him get a saline nasal spray that should help.
