blood diamond- may be spoiler
Is the whole movie very violent? I just turned it on, and I coudn't watch the first violent scene. Are there more scenes like that? If so, there is no way I can watch this movie

I was afraid it was going to be too hard to watch, but it really wasn't. It had a few violent scenes, and some emotional ones, but it is definitely worth it - a great movie!

It's a great movie! Definitely worth watching. Remember its a true story so it's not useless violence. It's really a part of the story.

Its just so sad  My mom was an elementry school ESL teacher, and she had students who were soldiers in africa. They were 8 years old!
It is truly heartbreaking. And as a mother, I cannot imagine the pain that these women go through when their children are taken away or worse

I completely agree - the movie is herat wrentching, but the story needs to be told.

I ended up watching it- I had to play online for most of it, because I just couldn't take the violence. But i am glad I saw it.

It actually made me not want to every buy a diamond again. It was really upsetting. I almost couldn't watch it.
