I did a search and it doesn't appear as though we discussed this movie.

Leornardo Dicaprio's performance astounded me.

agreed! leo was awesome! i thought his accent would annoy be but i was pleasantly surprised.
the diamond issue is never openly discussed anywhere! i think its about high time someone made mention of it and brought it to everyones attention. i certainly dont look at diamonds the same way anymore!

I can't believe I knew so little of the diamond industry. What a well kept secret...
VH1 also did a special recently, taking rappers to go see the diamond hunters. To show them where their bling comes from.

I just rented this last week and I said the same thing. I thought Leo was amazing! he really gets into his character so perfectly. I am so impressed by him. I really will be looking into conflict diamonds more after seeing that. I cried of course and I thought the movie was great!!!
