blessing party - possible venue for a brunch for about 20-25 ppl
We are trying to put together a blessing party for DD#2, we don't have near the $$$ we had for DD#1's (which we are still paying off) which was at Papparazzi last year... which was actually too big for the number of guests that actually showed.
To save cash we were thinking of a smaller room and a brunch instead of lunch/dinner. Any restaurants come to mind that can cater to such an event? We will need some space to do the naming/baptism in the room - so private is better. Looking at October/November.
TIA!

I don't know what your price range is, but Jonathan's in Garden City Park does a brunch and they have a few private rooms.

Check out Uncle Bacala's though, too. I don't know what their catering menu is cost-wise, but they have a cheap price fixed lunch and a private room - they might be able to give you an affordable lunch menu.

Thank you for this... I'm going to look into both. It's tougher these days to take the time to look for stuff with G running all over (and wanting to play with my computer) and S with the feeding schedule and all. Thanks again!!

That's where we did both of my kids' christening parties. We had that front room that's glassed in.
