Bleeding Question

This is a follow up to my question a few days ago.....I don't remember seeing any implantation bleeding when I was pregnant the first time. However, I am 5 DPO and yesterday started getting some spotting. Today it is slightly more but MUCH lighter then a normal period. It would only be 13 days between my last cycle and this time, so that would be way too short to be counted as AF. I did take a few (yes a FEW! lol ) pregnancy tests (Dollar Store brand) and they came up negative which is what I expected.

Can the implantation bleeding last more than a day and be heavier then just a little wipe on the TP but lighter then AF?

How did you confirm ovulation? 5dpo is a little early for implantation bleeding since the egg doesn't implant probably for a few more days. Also, only 13 days between your last AF and you're already 5dpo? Seems too short. Do you ovulate on CD8?

ETA: My implantation bleeding was literally one spot and that was it.

I used an ovulation kit to detect when I ovulated.

And what cycle day did you get a + opk?

I'm pretty sure it was on the 8th day of the cycle.

If you got a +OPK on CD8, then you didn't O until CD 9 or 10.

Do you have really short cycles?

I do. They're typically 23 day cycles. Sometimes I can get AF 2x in a month if I have it in the beginning and very end of the month. Lucky me! Lol
