Bleeding during 1st trimester? Update... first post!
I'm 8 weeks and I'm bleeding. It's more of a brownish red than anything else. I was originally scheduled for my first sono today at 3:30 but we pushed the appt. up to 1:00.
Did anyone have this and continued on with a healthy pregnancy. I'm kinda freaking out. 
UPDATE: Thanks for all of the reassurance... totally calmed me down.
Saw my Dr. and he said definitely old blood. I have to go back in two weeks for another sono... he thinks I'm a little earlier than we initially though  , but we were able to see the tiniest flicker of a heartbeat.

so many girls had this and continued on to a healthy pregnancy. brown blood is old blood. sometimes it can even be caused by a cyst.
do you have any cramping?

I had brown and also ed bleeding combined w/ severe cramping from weeks 5 - 12 and both babies are still doing great! It's very scary but is common! Hopefully your dr will put your mind at ease this afternoon.

I had bleeding that ranged from very light spotting to heavy bright red bleeding (heavy stuff happened 3x in the first tri)
I'm now 17 weeks and doing great!
Spotting is normal in the first tri so try not to worry...FM me if you need to talk or have any questions!

I had bleeding throughout my first trimester. It ranged from brownish dishcharge to dark red clumps (the clumps were mostly when I woke up in the morning) But it stopped around my 2nd trimester. I am 24weeks pregnant. Good luck at your sonogram!!!
