Blanket sleepers and swaddling?

I received a few blanket sleepers for my girls. I wasn't planning on using them because I thought they would be too warm. They are in our room for maybe another month and its warm up there. We swaddle them still so we dress them lightly to sleep. I'd never put a fleece sleeper on them up there.

Their room where they sleep is forced air heat so it gets cool before it gets warm. So they might need them then if they aren't swaddled. .

When do you stop swaddling? Idk if we should just stop cold turkey when we transition to the cribs next month or if that would be too much at once. Are the fleece sleepers warm enough for no blanket or do they need a sleep sack.

I stopped swaddling with the arms in as soon as I noticed them rolling over completely. i know it's early, but my girls are already rolling over.
They still like to be warm and "secure", but I am no longer swaddling tightly with the arms in.
I do use those fleece swaddler sleepsacks, but the arms are out now.

my DD is 2.5 months and she is not swaddled anymore. we use a blanket on her and just keep it at her waist. So far shes been okay and she scoots herself lower in the crib and the blanket moves with her.

I usually go with a terry sleeper with a fleece sleepsack over it but if I use a fleece sleeper I still put the sleepsack on. I have done a cotton sleeper with a fleece sleeper over it and no sack if we're out late and I want to be able to put her right from the carseat into the crib.

We were never really swaddlers but we switched to the sleepsack around 5-6 weeks.

I do a cotton sleeper and long sleeve sleepsack. So far she wears that for bedtime but naps she is swaddled. For nap she gets an A&A swaddle miracle blanket swaddle and then a fleece blanky swaddled over that. I found she likes to be warm and cozy for naps!

I stopped swaddling once DD rolled from back to tummy in her sleep. We had been using the sleep sack swaddle with arms in, and switched to arms out, and then just a regular sleep sack. I dress DD in either a cotton sleep n play with a fleece sleep sack, or a fleece sleeper with a cotton or fleece sleep sack, depending on how cold it is.

As far as stopping swaddling, I wouldn't stop until you need to. If she hadn't started rolling, I'd still swaddle 6 month old DD now!

Yep- this is the best. I put them in really light PJ's then a fleece sleepsack/sleepsack swaddler.

Yeah, can you believe they actually roll over?? Bella has beeen doing this for weeks, and J just started two days ago. I'm doomed

I stopped swaddling early with both of my dc. Maybe by 1 month or younger because they would always break free. I sucked at swaddling and they busted out of the swaddled me thingy. My ds is 4 months and I just use footed pjs on him with no sleep sack because his room is very warm. I have to keep my heat on very high because ds number 1's room is freezing.

I think they will be fine with or without a sleep sack depending on the temperature. My ds just started sttn so now I won't add a sleepsack in fear he will be too hot and wake up!
