Swaddling blanket...mom 2 be question!
Can anyone give me an idea if the pre-designed swaddling blankets (with the velcro) are useful for infants? Should I register for them, or just stick with a regular swaddling blanket? Thanks!!!

definitely useful!! DS couldn't get out of the swaddles, but always got out of the blanket.

We only swaddled for a short while but we used the Swaddle me. We had the miracle blanket too but the swaddle me was just easier IMO. DH had a great swaddling lesson in the hospital and loved swaddling with a regular blanket. I think registering for a couple wouldn't hurt.

I didn't like the miracle blanket at all. I thought it was a big pain! The Swaddle Me was great though!

I registered and received 5 SwaddleMe's and I did not like them. My DS would squirm and fight until he broke free and this would happen easily. Sleep time was becoming really difficult bc his startle reflex would wake him. Someone on here suggested I get regular square swaddling blankets and what a difference! Love them! I was able to swaddle tighter and my DS stopped fighting it. He would even lay his arms flat for me to swaddle him. Now at 4 months, he doesn't sleep swaddled at night (he's in a sleep sack) but still loves to be swaddled for naps.

LOVED the swaddle me. DD was in it until she was about 5.5 months old.
I didn't care for the Miracle Blanket.

We used the Aden & Anais Swaddle blankets (online or at BBB). They are AMAZING and after you stop they are perfect for the diaper bag. The muslin is so light and they wash great. I just picked up 2 more packs as gifts too. Can't get enough....

go for the miracle blanket it'sthe best! The bundle me is good too, but my son has twisted out of it.

LOVE these!! DD is actually on their web site all swaddled up in there blankets!! They are a great company!

I LOVE the miracle blanket!!!!
DD started getting out of the regular swaddle bankets after a couple of weeks, but the miracle blanket is wonderful!
I tried one with velcro - I think "the first years" was the brand from target, I don't like it at all.
I'd register for at least 3 miracle blankets. I have 2 and could use another.
