Black Squirrels?
Does anyone else have black squirrels in their neighborhood? My parents live in the same town (just on the opposite side) and they have these huge black squirrels in their backyard. I've never seen them at my house though!

I've never seen them on Long Island - but I used to see them all the time in Scranton, PA (where I went to college). I thought they were a weird PA thing!

There are a ton where I went to school in the Bronx. I have yet to see one on LI.

I only saw one my entire life living in Queens
But when I am in Yonkers there are always tons there!

I live in westchester and they are everywhere! Come to think of it, I can't remember seeing a grey one.

I was going to say that- I went to camp at princeton university and I remember the black squirrels

I have not seen a black squirrel until we moved into our house 2 1/2 years ago...we live in Lake Grove and we have 4 of them living in our backyard
