OMG I went to Toys R Us at 4:30 and it was horrible, but we saved a TON of $$$ and we were home by 7am

DH and I went to ToysRus this morning. It was a mob scene but at least they were organized with how they dealt with the cash register line. They had one big line formed and a salesperson was at the front directing you to the next available cash register and the line was actually moving.
There was this other huge line in another part of the store that was just to get into the section of where the video games are.  I thought that was insane!

Ya know I waited till 11am to go. I was at target and with the exception of one DVD, I got everything I needed and there were NO LINES at the register, Same thing at KayBee Toys...no lines and everything still in stock.
And the best buy stuff was online yesterday for free shipping? No idea why anyone would stand inline for it , when you could get it shipped free. I got all my best buy stuff yesterday morning.

ditto! we got there at about 5:45am and it was insane!!!! the lines were all the way in the back of the store but as someone else posted, there was someone directing everyone which registers to go so there was a method to the madness. we got some great deals!

We are in Saratoga Springs & went out early. I was in Best Buy at 7:30am with the memory I needed for my laptop in my hand. DH & I then went Kohls but couldn't get the KitchenAid that was on sale. Then Target but nothing major there. We didnt go for any REAL BIG ticket items nor did we have much shopping left to do.

Not for nothing but those TV's on sale at Walmart was a brand of Olevia. I might be wrong but I don't think they are the top of the line even if they were cheap.

they're def no where near top of the line. but they were $550 for 37" 1080i. not a bad deal, but still... nothing I would want.
