Birthday parties for twins?
So, I have 4 months so I have time. But I was thinking now that my b/g twins are in school. We are inviting their pre k class to their birthday party this year. Do we invite the class to a party for both of them? Do we invite the boys for my son and the girls for my daughter? I'm not sure how this works because of the whole gift thing. I don't want anyone to feel obligated to bring a gift for both kids because that's a lot. How do other twin mommas go about this? TIA

So funny I never thought about it. This year will be our first party with classmates. I kind of like inviting the boys for DS and the girls for DD. Not sure though. Where are you having it?

I have twin nephews and at that age, the invites had both kids. Until they were older to pick and choose who their "friends" were.

Re: Birthday parties for twins?
My son has twins in his daycare class. They have their birthday party together, we give two gifts. My cousin has twin boys - and does the same thing.
They are separate human beings, just born at the same time - if they had separate parties, I'd still be buying each kids a gift .......KWIM?
no matter what you do EVER people are going to or complain. Do what's best for you and your kids.

Birthday parties for twins?
I always put both of my twins on the invitation. I would never go to a twins birthday and bring only one a gift. I am a twin and remember this happened to us all of the time and one would of us would always get upset.

Birthday parties for twins?
Thanks everyone. I'll put both names on the invites. When they are invited to a party from school I always give separate gifts from each kid so I guess it's kinda like the same thing. You're right if people have a Problem with it then they don't have to come.

I am thinking of doing California Pizza Kitchen. I have to call them but I heard its only $10.00 a kid. Since I'm inviting the whole pre k class I'll be inviting like 30 kids total with family and friends kids. I know not all will come but for $10.00 a kid CPK seems like a fun cheaper option
