Birthday
I just need to have a small pity party for myself and I know you girls are always there to listen... so thank you and I'm sorry to be complaining...
Tomorrow is my 27th birthday and I am having a really hard time with it. I just keep thinking about how last year I was SURE we'd have our baby by now...HA! We are currently going on 18 months TTC... and to top it all off I got my period yesterday morning right on time and my CD3 appointment is tomorrow morning. Happy Birthday! It has been hard this week because everyone at work LOVES birthdays and has been talking about it all week, they want to know what I'm doing, where I'm going, how I'm celebrating. And I haven't planned anything and I don't want to. I don't want it to be my birthday because then I have to really admit that this is taking longer than I ever thought. Its not about getting older, its about how long we've been waiting and its scary to think about how much longer we may have to wait.

 i was miscarrying on my birthday last year. this year on my 30th birthday i'll be  35w pregnant!!
when going through IF the best thing is to not make any plans around whether or not  is there.
it WILL happen for you!

ummm...did you steal this from my life??? lol I just turned 27 2 weeks ago and got AF 2 days before my bday. Everyone was so excited for my bday and wanted to go out to celebrate and all i wanted to do was crawl into a hole. We are approaching 1 year at the end of the month of TTC with probably about 13 cycles and 1 chemical preg. I too thought I would def. be pregnant or have a child by my 27th birthday!! You are not alone. Happy Birthday!!

I completely understand. There are so many milestones that have passed that I had assumed I would have a baby for, and those markers of time make IF so much more painful.

I do this every year. After I got married I kept saying that I wanted to have my first child before I turned 30, I am now coming up on my 34th bday and still no babies. I try so hard to stay positive that it will happen.

Thank you all so much for your words and support... It truly helped me get through this week. I was able to enjoy my birthday with some friends who know what I am going through... Thank you for listening and sharing with me...
