Do I need one? Is anyone doing one, and if so what goes in it?

Mine too. I have to say that every person I have known who ever had a plan, was never able to follow it for one reason or another. I feel that I should go in hoping for the best and expecting ALL possibilities.

Re: Birth Plan
In lamaze, the nurse/instructor said that you should NOT have a plan. Be prepared for anything. You don't know what your tolerance for pain is, you don't know what the baby's plan is, and you don't know how quickly/slowly your body will progress during labor. So, my plan is to not have a plan!

I'm also on the quick and painless plan! However, from everything I've read and been told the plan is to be flexible because you don't know how you'll feel or what you'll need until your in the situation.
