Birth Control Pill?
Hi,
I have been on Birth control for a lil over 10 years.My DH and I have decided that we would liek to try to start ttc. If we wanted to start in Nov when would you think i should stop the pill?TIA

When I made an appt with my gyn to talk about TTC, he said to go off it 3 months before.

It will be out of your system the day after you take the last active pill so technically you can safely start trying right away. However, it can take a few months for your cycles to regulate when coming off the pill so that's why it's recommended to come off it a few months before.

i would go off of it as soon as possible and use protection in the mean time. it can take time for your body to regulate post-BCP.
