Birth announcement for dc2
Just wondering people's thoughts and what they did for the birth announcements for dc2. These are my options:
1) a photo of only dc2 on the front, and a small photo of the 2 kids together on the back (rationale: this announcement is for dc2's birth and should be about her)
2) put multiple photos on the front: one or two just of dc2, and one with the 2 kids together. On the back, some random extra photos we like. (Rationale: the announcement represents our new family constellation)
I keep going back and forth! Tia!

Birth announcement for dc2
Ours was multiple pictures in the front. Mostly of dd2 but two small ones of dd1 kissing dd2. The back was her name and birth info.

I had twins first and then my third. My birth announcement for DS 3 was a large pic on the front of the 3 of them and two slightly smaller ones of just him on the right and left side of the large pic.
The birth announcement said my twins names are excited to introduce their baby brother with all his info.
And then proud parents with our names.
I love my announcement. Whatever you choose, you will love because it's yours :).

I only did multiple pics of DD2.
ETA: My thought was, DD1 didn't have to share her announcement with anyone, why should DD2 have to.

I kind of like idea 2. I think it's about welcoming a new baby to the family. Making DC2 the focal point with accent pictures of your other DC or pics of the family.

I plan to do multiple pics - focus on DD2, but have at least one pic with DD1 and DD2 and one pic of all 4 of us together. On DD1's announcement I had a pic the 3 of us, there's no reason I wouldn't do the same this time.

I prefer one photo over multiple smaller ones so I'd do a pic of dd2 on front and a family picture or sibling picture on the back.

We did multiple pics of DC2, and one with both kids together on the front. T hen I used a small pic of just DC2 on the back, too. I had a lot of great pics to choose from.
IMO, it was all about DD, but DS kissing his new little sister was an adorable pic to welcome her into our family.

I did similar announcements for both of mine. All pics of each kid and then a family pic on the back. Kept the focus on the baby, while acknowledging our new family unit.

For my DS we had one big picture of him on the front and then on the back there was a pic of me and him together, DH and him together and our DD and him together. I think it came out great!

I think whatever you prefer is fine. We did a big pic of dd2 and 3 small pics one of which included big sister. I love seeing the siblings together and I also love announcements with just one amazing picture. There's definitely no right or wrong here.

Me too. I wanted the focus to be on DS2 and his new, chubby, crinkly face.
