Bird Deterrents Recommendation?

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a bird deterrent device...

Preferably one that moves or is motion sensitive.

TIA

My sister has a fake owl on her front lawn. No birds there anymore. Have no idea how or why this works, but it does

We have a fake owl. The birds sit on its head.

That's why we thought something that had a motion sensor might work better.....if it made a sound...

Bird Deterrents Recommendation?

I have birds in my tree that I'm looking to get rid of, any ideas? I can park my car under it and literally in a day it goes from looking great to looking like I'm a white trash slob with birdpoop everywhere.

Re: Bird Deterrents Recommendation?

i had birds nests for years, tried so many methods even paid someone 2000 to remove them and they still came back with a vengence.

They just made a home around the bird spikes we put up.

The only thing this year that seems to be working so far is chicken wire, around the areas that they nest along with nailing the wire into the house and using a liquid cement to make sure it doesnt come off.

It took 2 guys a few days to do it and was very tedious

There is something called a scarecrow. It's a motion sensor sprinkler. It always scares me when it goes off, not sure if it would work for birds! Also, you wouldn't want it if it's an area where people frequently walk since they'd get hit.
