Big decision! Paris or Hawaii? DECISION MADE!!!!!
So DH and I are planning our last hurrah before TTC. Here are two places we've always wanted to go to and the details:
Paris 6 nights
centrally located hotel
-Option to travel to another area of France- Normandy, Versailles, etc.
Paris Sightseeing Pass:
-Free entry to over 60 sights and attractions
-Free use of public transport within Paris Zones 1 - 3 (Metro and buses) for the validity of your pass
-A free full color guidebook in three languages
-Additional special offers and benefits at selected restaurants and shops
-Skip the queues with fast-track entry at many of the major sights,
including the Louvre, Pantheon, Arc de Triomphe, Musee d'Orsay, Centre
Pompidou and many more!
Hawaii- 6 nights
2 nights in Oahu- Aquos Hotel in Waikiki
Basically we will only have time to see Pearl Harbor
4 nights in Maui -Ka'anapali Beach Hotel which is rated 5 out of 30 hotels in Lahaina
The flights work out to be the same length (although the layover is different) and the price is the same. I know its really expensive in HI as it will be with the Euro in France, so I figure the price will even out??
eta I know they are two VERY different places but we would be happy with either. Our TA (travel tom, who is incredibly helpful) says that Europe is always easier to visit when we have kids- not that we'd be able to afford it!
What would you do?

We finally made the agonizing decision- PARIS!!!! Sooo excited!

Paris is really nice in very late Spring, Summer and late Summer. mid/Late Fall/Winter and early Spring is cloudy and rain and you might be disappointed.

I voted for Paris - more to see and less likelihood of a tsunami strike (sorry that thought did cross my mind), 
I studied there in college and there were still so many things to I didn't get to visit/see. Plus its super romantic!

I vote for Paris because Hawaii is a place you might go with kids, but Paris is much better to do as a couple

Honestly, we have been researching it a lot beacause it is a huge deciding factor. Its very hard to predict though.

Having been to both, I would go to Hawaii. Could you go to Kawaii instead? I loved Kawaii.

I've been to both and think considering you only have 6 days, Paris is better. However, if you crave sun and sand and dont mind traveling so far for it, Hawaii is the better choice.
Europe definitely is easier to do with kids since it's a shorter flight so that's also something to consider.
Good luck, both are great choices!

I haven't been to either but if i had to choose i would want to go to Paris. Dh on the other hand would choose Hawaii. Sorry I'm not help! I don't think you could go wrong with either!

I have been to both places and I would select Paris. Hawaii is a really long flight to be in America.

Having been to both and just gotten back from Hawaii, go to Paris. We went there several years ago. Much easier to do without kids. In contrast, we took our 1 year old to Hawaii and he loved it.
ETA: Ok, just saw you decided on Paris! Enjoy!
