Bfn not surprised

I am so upset. Not only was this process brutal but getting that call was sucky. Brought me back to he year and a half we would try and try and would just keeping getting negatives.
I had a really really bad experience at rsony this time around. I'm really surprised at how badly the office is run. I was in pain since my transfer. Needless to say I went in Monday for bloodwork and told them. They did a sono and urine analysis. Well they called that day to tell me everything was fine. Go in today to find the nurse never told me I had an infection and was supposed to be on med(the ones that the dr prescribed I was also allergic to that was all supposed to be in my records). I'm now questioning if I was on those meds could I have been pregnant. Ugh

They also never told me about a change in my menopur that trivax changed. Amongst asking me if im taking my meds that I was never on to begin with and having the woman draw blood, not getting the vein the first time and asking me if she could use the same needle.

It was just horrific, even without the outcome involved.
I am waiting to hear from trivax but something tells me he probably didn't even get the message.

Thanks for your support and help this cycle! I'm so happy to have met you Chat Icon

I'm so sorry. I would look into a new practice. I am out of pocket too. I would be disgusted .10-15k is a lot of money to be spent on ridiculous errors that could have easily been avoided. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I'm so sorry!!! That's messed up about the infection and them not properly notifying you. Were you on doxycycline or cipro prior to transfer? I thought that was standard (antibiotics) to prevent infection?! I always took it 5 days prior to transfer and normally 2-3 days post transfer.

Nope. Wasn't the last time either. I think the anestiologist said they give it through your IV at the transfer now.
I don't think they know their ass from their elbow.

I'm so sorry. I switched away from that office recently too because of some really bad experiences. I'm happier at my new office (LI IVF). Best of luck to you wherever you end up. Chat Icon

I'm so sorry and I would definitely speak to the office manager or doctor because you are owed something here! Can I ask where you were going?

Good luck, they are impossible at that place, but I don't see your Dr as being part of the team meeting? which does not surprise me.

If you can bring someone with you you should, so you have support and a second person to hear what is said
