BFN & BFP question
sorry- I'm sure this has been asked but I couldn't fin the answer with the search feature
I'm 2 or 3-5 days before AF is due. I tested yesterday  I know I shouldn't have but I had too.... it was BFN. I know technically I'm not out until AF shows, but do you think I still have a chance?
my cycle is usually 27-33 days. Usually comes on CD 26-30 though.
Has anyone tested negative before but then got a positive only after AF was due?

Yes! You are still in! With my first i got a BFN the morning AF was due and the a BFP that night!

Pee-tests measure how much HCG (pregnancy hormone) is in your urine. You don't have enough of the hormone in your urine to register a BFP until about 9-14 days after conception, depending on what brand you use and how long you've been holding in your pee.
So if you get a BFN early, it's not a great indication that you're not pregnant, because you can definitely be pregnant but not have a lot of HCG in your urine yet. Testing early and getting a BFP means you're in, but testing early and getting a BFN doesn't mean you're out. Make sense?

This happened w/ DS. I tested at 11 dpo, 13 dpo (day b4 AF was due), BFN & then tested 15dpo & got a faint BFP. Hang in there!

I am dealing with the same thing! My cyle is usually 28-35 days. Tested on CD 27 and got a BFN, but still no AF. I am trying to hold out, but I might have to test again in the morning. I wish I had a Dollar Tree near me - the tests are so expensive!
